We built an application that manages multiple TransXchange datasets, allowing NCT to make both current and upcoming network changes simultaneously available to all passengers, at any time, agnostic of their device and location.
The data is managed in the browser powering a web app, iOS mobile app and Android mobile app via a custom built API. It is then overlaid with a Real Time Information (SIRI) feed to build accurate and personalised information for customers.
Live departures on any device
Mobile visits to websites now eclipse desktop in nearly every case, so we delivered live departures for NCT as a responsive website too. Passengers can now access and customise live departure information from any device they choose, in a browser or a mobile app. This approach supports NCT’s vision of making journeys accessible to all passengers, regardless of their technology preferences.
