We built a connected mobile app platform for NCT designed to help staff to communicate efficiently to passengers, who together make over 50 million journeys across 67 routes every year.
NCT is one of the UK’s largest independent public transport operators and they pride themselves on running an exceptional level of service for their passengers, come rain or shine. In recognition of this they’ve got plenty of awards to their name, including the UK’s Top City Operator. To support them in maintaining standards as patronage increases we’ve built technology that integrates with their industry standard and custom internal systems.
For passengers that includes an iPhone mobile app and an Android mobile app that both have up to date timetable, Real Time (RTI) and personalised traffic disruption information. With live bus information, customisable journey planning tools and a scalable infrastructure the apps are helping to get accurate information to passengers faster and more consistently than ever before.
